Have you ever had that person that you would be willing to die for? I think there are a lot of people in our life that we would sacrifice anything for, because we love them, and they love us. But personally I don't think me or a lot of people would be willing to lose everything, to sacrifice ourselves for someone that hated us. Someone who wanted to kill us, someone who would risk their life to destroy our life. There are many people in the world who are good people. Who are kind, generous, selfless. But I think that the willingness to die for someone who has willingly gone against you, someone who wants you dead. I think that willingness, selflessness, that love, can only come from someone who is love. When Jesus died on the cross, when He died for our sins, He sacrificed Himself for everybody, not just the people who loved Him, but also the people who hated Him, the people who wanted Him dead.
